Jan Paul van Soest (1955) is a well know advisor, entrepreneur and author in the field of sustainability in the Netherlands. His work is based on the idea that our society and economy can only flourish and develop if the resilience of the ecosystems is not compromised.

His company, Sustainability Consulting, supports companies, governments and other organisations with strategic advice. In addition, Jan Paul is the author of a large number of publications, essays and books. He is co-founder and chairman of Carbon Stars, a private company that conceives and develops companies based on sustainable business concepts and innovations.
